Our weekly installment, Reduction Roundup, will be available for your viewing pleasure each Wednesday. This little gem will bring you some of our favorite price reductions of the week. If you have questions, know of a good reduction that should be featured or want to know about a specific property, just ask…
Reduction 15
- Address: 338 Avila Street
- Why: It’s purdy, costs almost a quarter mill less than it did last week and some folks are not bothered by the possibility of liquefaction.
- Original Price: $2,895,000
- Current Price: $2,648,000
Reduction 16
- Address: 2225 23rd Street #310
- Why: Lowest priced condo in the city that was recently reduced. That said, it was originally listed at $299,000, then went up to $370,000 and the “reduction” is based on that price.
- Original Price: $299,000
- Current Price: $363,000

338 Avila is the listing agent’s personal residence and she based the price off of Rebeccah Shumacher’s listing that sold down the block. She is getting a lot of interest but the price is still high. She has changed the staging and it shows better now.

you’re kidding right? man, don’t freak me out like that! if that’s true, i’m done, literally gonna throw in the towel and allow this forum to morph into something very, very different. i have this feeling however that you’re just pullin’ my leg as we both know of another popular blog out there that fancies reductions more than anything (if ya know what i’m pluggin’ about).
