Our friend Anna made a comment on the Tennis Map post hoping that the Schtuffers could help her find a few additional handy-dandy maps.

helpful (for me) would be a dog friendly map, as in where you can off leash or which bars allow your puppy a small beer under the table while you drink your large version. also a playground map. or a dive bar map!

Hopefully somebody will chime in and share their map secrets, but in the meantime, Anna, here are two maps that we have not shared that you may enjoy:

  1. Mappy Hour: This map attempts to display the happy hours around the city. They may or may not be dive bars, but it is the closest thing we know to a bar map.
  2. GeoSpot Local Search: This beta map displays when stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and more are open, about to close and what’s open or closed around if your store is not currently servin’ it up. For example, you can search for drive-thru onion rings at 10am in San Francisco and the map lists all the local grease joints that can serve you.
