This Glen Park residence was built from the ground up and completed in 2007.  The home consists of four levels, three decks with a basement/garage tucked into the hillside. The first floor features a double-height space that’s partially cut from the ceiling above, while a projecting two-story bay window filters in abundant natural light and canyon views. Exposed concrete retaining walls are juxtaposed with refined materials and contemporary lines. A peaceful outdoor space channels light into the kitchen and dining area. The house has modern lines and is energy efficient thanks to a high-performance envelope, radiant heating, dual-flush toilets, and high-end Energy Star appliances.

The newly constructed, contemporary, minimalist designed and award winning custom smart home is coming to the market later this week. The architect stepped the house’s street façade to mediate between the two neighboring buildings adding a modern element to the more traditional city block.
