2406 still needs to drop the price more. They came out of the gates way too high for this market. They bought for 1.9 in 1999, so they have wiggle room too.
Spoke with Roberta Holden, the listing agent for Washington this morning. She said she technically lowered it a week ago but MLS gliched and showed the reduction only yesterday, but she is going out of town so she won’t be holding it open this Sunday but will squeeze in all showing up until Friday morning. She is desperately seeking buyers and the seller will likely entertain any offers.
it’s hard for me to believe the MLS glitch story. i mean, really? the database just decided yesterday to show the reduction? i had no idea the MLS took matters into its own hands. ok, i’ll give it to her, but i’ve never heard of such a thing. desperately seeking buyers = 25% under the current asking????
Ya it seems like a pretty desperate situation over there. Bring offers and get yourself a deal, it is a really nice place.
