Fun With Math

I don’t have a problem admitting when I make a mistake and it seems as though I may have made one in regards to my math in a previous post.  To confirm however, I thought I’d take the question to the readers.  Poll Time!

E-Manny Reviews Cafe Claude

emannysized
By E-Manny:cafeclaude

I’ve been to Cafe Claude three times and have always been impressed. I love walking down the tiny alley in the evening and seeing the lights at the outdoor tables. It’s got this really romantic, European type of feeling, and the service is excellent (our recent server was also adorable–always a nice touch).  The endive salad and the trout were all excellent. There was delicious flavor in each, but not overbearing.  Hence, not feeling heavy or too full afterward. My sister ordered the chicken, the flavor was richer with a dark red wine sauce, and so tender that the meat fell off the bone.  Love you Claude!

Hot and Cold

September 25, 2009

san-francisco-weatherJanuary 13, 2009

While the Midwest suffers a cold streak and blizzards, San Francisco is experiencing some spring time-like weather.

SF Gate reports:

“In northern Minnesota, it was 35 below zero in Roseau and 36 below in Hallock, with wind chills down to 45 below in Hibbing. Just to the north, Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, also hit minus 36, according to Environment Canada.”

Lots of cold in the country, while we are experiencing upper 60’s to lower 70’s and crystal clear skies!  The sun feels good, but we should all be thinking wet dreams thoughts as our state really needs some precipitation.  We are already in a deep recession, throwing a drought in the mix will just make things that much more complicated.

Sharp cold wave shocks upper Midwest temps to -36 [SF Gate]

Seductively Sold XXXIX

seductively-sold

Bon dia!

Last week was a slow one for closed transactions, a pretty typical pattern for the second week in the year, but combine a post-hangover week with a tighter than usual credit market, confused buyers and sellers, and decreasing prices and you’ll get 155% fewer sold homes versus the same time period in 2008.  That sounds like a large decrease (one you may not want to digest with your morning coffee), but that’s because you haven’t yet read that we saw 415% fewer transactions than we did during the same time period in 2007.

If you would like to see the actual sales price for the properties listed, you must agree to the terms and conditions and ask…
